Serhii Kukushkin

Serhii Kukushkin is our Ukrainian Field Director. He and his wife Olga along with their four children now live in Birmingham, AL. They were on vacation in Germany when the Russian invasion took place in February of 2022 and were not permitted to return to Kherson given Russia’s occupation of that territory. Prior to emigrating to the United States, he was a pastor in Kherson and devoted much of his time caring for impoverished families throughout that region. His primary responsibility is building relationships with trustworthy partners in Ukraine and serving as our liaison to help identify those children in clear need of humanitarian assistance, then ensuring that donor investments are directed to the children for whom they were intended.To continue serving as UCAF’s Ukrainian Field Director in 2024 and beyond, Serhii needs to begin raising financial support each month in the form of singular or recurring donations.
