Cerebral Palsy Therapy for Dasha in Kiev

Dasha’s Story: A Life Given Hope by UCAF Donors

Dasha is an 8-year-old girl living in Kyiv, Ukraine who was diagnosed with severe Cerebral Palsy at a young age.
Her mobility depends heavily on a constant routine of physical therapy, kinesitherapy, and reflexology. She also requires a strict regimen of vitamins and immune support. Without it, even basic movement becomes nearly impossible.

Dasha’s family is doing everything they can to help her make progress. But between treatment costs and daily care, the financial burden is overwhelming. They have continued this journey with determination, but they cannot do it alone.

In 2023, support from Ukraine Children’s Aid Fund helped this family access critical treatment. That support made it possible for Dasha to receive targeted therapy and nutritional care that had a real impact on her health and development. It offered them a measure of hope and the promise of continued improvement.

Update on Dasha’s care: Funding has continued for supplements to strengthen her immune system, but ongoing therapy has been paused due to limited resources. Her physical therapy program, which is essential to her development, cannot continue without renewed support.

If you would like to help Dasha continue her recovery, your contribution can make a direct and meaningful difference. Every gift helps provide the specialized treatment she needs to grow stronger and live with greater independence.
