Therapy for Dasha Battling Cerebral Palsy
Dasha’s Story: A Life Given Hope by UCAF Donors
Dasha is an 8-years-old girl who lives in Kiev, Ukraine and was diagnosed with a severe case of Cerebral Palsy at a young age. Apart from a prescribed regimen of vitamins and supplements along with constant physical therapy of various kinds, she would barely be able to move. This family needs all the personal and financial support they can get in order to help Dasha make progress and to pay for her ongoing physical therapy, kinesitherapy, and reflexology treatments.
Thanks to generous UCAF donors, we were able to come side this family in 2023 and help them gain access to critical therapy and treatment for her Cerebral Palsy, offering her and her family a small measure of hope and the promise of continued progress.
Update on Dasha’s physical therapy for Cerebral Palsy. Other than funding the purchase of vitamins and supplements to help boost her immune system, we have chosen not to continue funding any aspect of her ongoing therapy until we have the funds to do so. If you would like to help finance her ongoing therapy to ensure that Dasha receives the follow-up treatment she so desperately needs, please consider making a tax-deductible donation via the DONATE NOW button.
